Iapmala is a village under Khliehriat block. It is one of the most beautiful village in East Jaintia Hills. The famous Leshka Project is very near to this Particular village. The population are around 600. However, the youth from this village feel that there is a need to build a wall near the footpath field as the condition of the ground is deteriorating. So, accordingly the Border Areas Department came out with this initiative.

Tongseng is one of the well known village in East Jaintia Hills. It is situated along National Highway 44. The village is approximately 9 Km from zero line through crow fly distance. The population of Tongseng is approximately 486 with youth population around 230. Considering the number of sports enthusiastic particularly the youth generation, the development of football field at this very village will be of great help in developing the next generation sports person from East Jaintia Hills. Every year a football tournament used to be held at this very village among the football teams that fall under Narpuh Elaka.

Umlangsha is one of the oldest village in the District of East Jaintia Hills. It is situated along the Rymbai -Borsora-Borghat road. The population of umlangsha is approximately 300, with youth population around 180. Looking at the number of sports enthusiastic particular the young generation, the development of football field at this very village will be of great help in developing the next generation sport person from East Jaintia Hills. Recently, after the development of the field, the Umlangsha sports club organised an inter dong football match. The football field will also be of great contribution to other need full of the village like holding of religious functions, inter school competition, cricket match, fete etc.
Name of Scheme : Construction of Fencing for Office of Dolloi at Lama

The Dolloi of Lakadong Elaka function from the office of the Dolloi which is situated at Lama. The Lakadong Elaka consists of ten villages like Umlangsha, Lad-Lakadong, Umlatdoh, Borghat, Pdengwah Khynriam etc. The population of this elaka is approximately 6000. So considering the important of the office, there is a need for completion of fencing around the office. Apart from encroachment by unauthorised person illegally into the compound of the office, the fencing of the office also show the importance of the office, since the Dolloi complete most of the important work like land holding, land dispute, religious Ceremony etc from within the office. It also act as a secure place of vehicle parking during public function.

Lumputhoi is a village in East Jaintia Hills under Rymbai Elaka. Its population is around 1200 approximately. Considdering the number of occupants/inhabitants in Lumputhoi village, there is an urgent need for completion of the building. Moreover, there is only one public building in the village, which have been destroyed by natural force. During election time it serves as a polling station for two villages i.e. along with Moo Nongtdu which have a vote bank of approximately 350 votes. The village office also serves various other necessities like fete, dorbar meeting, and enrolment hall for epic card, Aadhar Card etc.

Bataw is one of the famous villages in East Jaintia Hills District, particularly for its scenic beauty. The present of the Umbhang Lake make it even more beautiful. The population of the village is approximately 3500. Counting on the needful of the village with more than 3000 inhabitants, there is a need to improve the beauty of the village. So, with the construction of the footpath , the villagers found it easy to travel across the village, the agriculturist found it easy to transport their finished goods, school going children comfortably reach their school ,tourists can feel the calmness while walking through the footpath to reach Umbhang Lake.

Khaddum is one of the remote village in East Jaintia Hills. Brishyrnot is another village which is adjacent to Khaddum, it will take approximately 6 (six) Km from national Highway to reach these villages. Considering the distance and the hardship to travel during rainy season, it has become an imperative for the department to construct the U/P School. The population of Khaddum is approximately 339, with number of student at Upper Primary level approximately 80.

Kuliang is a well known village in East Jaintia Hills. The population of kuliang is approximately 850. Kuliang is 3 Km from zero line through crow fly distance. The well known village like Umkiang and Ratacherra are around 20 Km from this village as most of the traveller has to passed through Kuliang to reach Umkiang and Ratacherra village. Considering the beauty of the village, there is a need to make it more beautiful by constructing a retaining wall for playground at Kuliang. Even though more fund is needed for developing the retaining wall, villagers start to believe that even the remaining work will be completed in years to come.

Lumskhen is a village under Khliehriat Block. The population of Lumskhen is approximately 900 with number of voters around 400. But, there is a lack of development in this village. The construction of footpath raised the believe among the inhabitants that more development will be coming to the village. The footpath is the main route for the inhabitants of Lumskhen to pass through the village. It also help the villagers to reach the corner of the village where the church located. It also helps small children to carry pot of water from the nearby spring, agriculturist to carry the finished product to the main road, and moreover the footpaths add a scenic beauty to the village which is already beautified by natural beauty.

The village around Chiehruphi are Mynkre, Musiang Lamare, Umlong, Wahiajer etc. So, the location of Maitshaphrang L.P School at Chiehruphi village will be of great help to the above villager too. Maitshaphrang L.P School have around 200 Students. The population of Chiehruphi is approximately 670.
