The 5 (five) Nos. of distribution tanks with G.I. pipes connection constructed at strategic locations in the betel & leaf plantation area at Nongryngkoh is intended to provide equitable distribution of water during the dry winter months when there is scarcity of rainfall. The water is fed from the perennial water source to the distribution tanks through the G.I. pipes and subsequently, the water is distributed in the plantation area through the traditional method of drip irrigation using bamboo channels.
Name of the Scheme: Fencing of Pres. LP School, Nonghulew

Nonghulew Pres. LP School is one the primary school in the nonghulew area which has rendered great service over the years. The fencing around the school has ensured that the school has a proper demarcation of its boundaries and more importantly the fencing has served the purpose of prevention of unwanted trespassing by cattles and other elements thereby creating a nuisance in the school and its premises. In addition, the fencing has added value to the outlook of the school.

With the increasing enrolment of students every year, there is a genuine need of expansion of the existing structure of Raid Nonghulew UP School so as to create adequate space for the students and more importantly to create a congenial environment for imparting quality education. The extension of the existing school building has thus helped the school to a great extent.

The construction of the village kuccha road has helped to further the vehicular accessibility and connectivity in Mawdulop village which previously was available only upto a certain point. The road is very therefore very significant which will help the village to a great extent as this will facilitate easier and convenient transportation of goods and produces of the village.

As evident from the photographs above, the site where the footbridge was supposed to be constructed was a muddy area and during the rainy season, the seemingly small stream turns out to be a big river overflowing with water. This particular route is used on a daily basis by the villagers of Mawsir to commute to their areas of cultivation and therefore, the absence of a proper concrete structure is a big hindrance for the people. With the construction of the RCC footbridge along with the stretch of approach footpath on both sides of the bridge, the inconvenience of the people has been alleviated to a great extent.
