Rimrangpara village lies in the region of West Garo Hills District in Meghalaya, it is located within 11 kilometers’ crow fly radius from the International Border. The Rimrangpara village has a strength of 511 population comprising with 93 households. The village is inhabited by single main tribe Garo. The main livelihood source of the people is Agriculture farming, Cash crop plantations and livestock farming.
The Border Areas Department’s intervention in building a Lower Primary School at the village has given a huge impact to the people and especially to the school goes, as the school infrastructure was in very poor condition. The new school building has provided an extra class rooms. The school faculty and the people thanked the Department for bringing such interventions to the village.

The Madragre Village lies in the South West Garo Hills District of Meghalaya under Salmanpara Constituency, it is located within 11 kilometers’ crow fly radius of the International Border. The village population is around 312 with 56 households. The main livelihood activity of the people in the village is Agriculture farming, Cash crop plantation and Livestock faming.
The construction of Micro Irrigation Dam in the village has eased the water relating problems faced by the people. The implementation of the project in the village has facilitate better irrigation system to their respective agriculture fields and helped people to irrigate their farmlands for better produce and surplus. The people are very thankful of the department for its intervention and seek for more projects in the years to come.

Amindarangsagre village has a significant scenic beauty and the strength of unity to uplift their social and economic condition of their own. The people of Amindarangsagre are very cooperative and their mass participation adds to the development of the village. The village is known to be the cleanest village in Garo Hills. The village lies in the West Garo Hills District of Meghalaya and within 20 kilometers’ crow fly radius of International Border at Dalu. The village has 32 households with a total population of 102. The people dwelling in the village are all of Garo tribes of various clans. The occupants of the people are mostly literate and thus earnings from farming adds surplus to their sustenance. Some of the people of this village earn their livelihood through their skill of wood crafting which is renowned in the state. The Border Areas Development Department is the sole Government department that the village has received any assistance so far. The Border Areas Dvelopment, Dalu is much obliged to lend a helping hand in making the village develop and overcome its needs by providing assistance as required by the people of Amindarangsagre. The department and the people from this village envisage more accomplishment in terms of development in near future.
