A well knit rural road network can have a lot of benefits on the economy of the area and its impact on the agricultural economy can be very effective in terms of providing easy and faster access during all seasons to the markets, availability of quality inputs and increase in diversity to more cash crops. With the construction of this road,the farmers in these areas namely Adugre, Bainapara, Godalgre, Betasing, Ajonggre, Arrengre, Asangre now produces more agricultural products by way of generated incentives for marketing their produce at low transportation cost and purchasing the fertilizer, manures and seeds at cheaper rate due to the reduced cost of transportation to the village thereby increasing the productivity of agriculture which is a dominant sector of the economy.

Located not very far from the International Border Bangladesh,Monabari houses about 594 population. Construction of this c.c. paved road has provided a drastic improvement of the transport services available to the connected villages like Kashra,Talbari,Belbari,Ishakuri and Watregre.The mobility level of the population got increased. The provision of this rural road resulted in the speedier movement of men and material between producing centre and market-place. The marketable surplus of the village produce can now be conveniently transported at a cheaper cost of transportation. It also ensures the farmer for the remunerative prices for their products and perishable commodities like milk, vegetables, eggs, etc.

Construction of this footpath has helped a lot in mitigating the hardships suffered by the rural folk living in this locality. It has brought various socio-economic benefits to the people forming a strong backbone for the agro-based economy. The connectivity of the adjacent villages to the road network has also resulted in many improvements in education sector. Frequency of the children missing schools during the rainy season has gone down. It also generated greater benefits in terms of accessibility to employment opportunities for the people.

Shipragaon, with a population of 349 numbers and 81 households is connected to villages like Kumligaon, Samati and Purasingga. People from these villages and the neighbouring villages like Batajor, Sulguri, Jolgaon etc. who often use this road have been greatly benefitted. Better connectivity has very significantly helped in solving their problem as it has supported the economic and social development through efficient and cost-effective movement of the villagers and the goods. This road has provided access to the communities for better markets and social services, and contributed to reduction of poverty and improved cross-border trade with neighbouring country Bangladesh.
