Umlatdoh is a village under East Jaintia Hills District which has a population of about 349 people as per population census 2011. It is located at a distance of 33 Km from the District Headquarter. The nearby villages to Umlatdoh are Ummat, Lad Lakadong Lama, Umlangsha, Bataw and Borghat villages. Before the villagers have to walk through a muddy and slippery road where it was informed that it was very inconvenient and connectivity within the village is very important. The construction this road has helped the people immensely with regards to a convenient vehicular accessibility.

Huroi is a village which is very near to the International border with Bangladesh. It has a population of about 917 people as per population census 2011.This route is mainly used by the students to reach their respective school and also by the villagers to reach their agriculture fields which has affected the people very badly especially during the rainy seasons. With the completion of this footbridge the people of Huroi village can now cross the river easily to reach their respective place.

Rangad is a big village which has a population of about 1530 people as per population census 2011. It is situated at a distance of 23 km from the District Headquarter. Since the village does not have a Community Hall, so construction of Community Hall at Dong Lumurong, Rangad village was taken up. This Community Hall will be a great asset to this village as it provides the village/community a proper place to conduct regular meetings of the village durbar/ NGOs and other organizations within the village.

The construction of this Community Hall has helped the people very much as now they can conduct meetings, trainings, cultural programmes etc.
