Moheskhola is one of border villages under Ranikor Border Block, South West Khasi Hills District. Moheskhola is a border village along International Border with Bangladesh and District Border with South Garo Hills District. The village has no bathing and washing compartment so the people has to take bath in the open space and it’s not suitable for the people specially female.In the year 2017 the scheme was sanctioned under SCA (BADP) 2017-18(90% Central Share) for the construction of Bathing and Washing Compartment in the village. This project has benefited the village community as a whole.

Photkroh is border village under Ranikor Border Block, South West Khasi Hills District. Photkroh is a Model Village along with adjacent villages proposed in 2017. Photkroh village is well known for Photkroh Market which is held twice a week is one of the prominent markets in the Border Areas on the way to Ranikor. Photkroh is separated by two streams which act as border boundaries with other villages on the east and west side. The link road from PWD road to the market was a kutcha road and it was in a very dilapidated condition for long times.This road is the only road for transportation of goods to and from the market.it was in the year 2017 the Department has sanctioned the Blacktopping of this road. After it was blacktop the link road has immensely helped the people especially the buyers and sellers as they could easily take their vehicles up to the market.

Khadphra is border village under Ranikor Border Block, South West Khasi Hills District. Khadphra Village about 3 ½ kms North from Ranikor is a clean, small and beautiful village. It is connected by both the state road i.e. the Shillong-Ranikor via Mawsynram road and the Shillong–Ranikor via Mawkyrwat Road. Mostly people living here are farmers/cultivators with very few numbers in other works. Jackfruits, Oranges, Pineapple, Lemons, Beatle nuts, Beatle leaves, and Broom sticks are the main agricultural products. The Village has an Upper and Lower Primary School, Community halls, Bus shed and others. The RCC Footbridge at Khadphra village sanctioned under SCA (BADP) 2017-18 (90% Central Share) was constructed at the bathing place in Phot Tongwer, Khadphra which is a blessing to the village and the whole community, since the construction of the footbridge not only make people easy to cross the stream but also add beauty to the scenery which attracted visitors and tourists from the state, outside the state and even foreign tourists . We may therefore say that by having this project at Khadphra, hopefully this place will become a tourist spot one day.

Panchering-A is one of border villages under Ranikor Border Block, South West Khasi Hills District. It has both Lower Primary and Upper Primary Schools. Step-by-Step School, is one of them, and before it has no proper School building so it very difficult for the Management committee to run smoothly, teachers and especially the student faces problem because of improper infrastructures like classroom. In 2017 the school was sanctioned for school building under SCA (BADP) 2017-18(90% Central Share). The School building has benefited the Managing Committee, the teacher the School’s Children and the village community as a whole.
